Get a life. People like you ensure that the media do their all to ruin the careers of players. So long as they (the players) are reprimanded, what is the problem? Do you really need to know?



The likely result of these people using a drug of choice (marijuana, speed, ecstasy, LSD, cocaine, whatever) will become a personal problem. As a result of the player payments being higher than they possibly should be, there are a number of players who don't know what the true value of money is. They also don't realise that there are other valid options as to what they do in their spare time (which can be substantial).



I say that the clubs should be held accountable, and as such the clubs should be paying them less, educating them more, and accepting the responsibility of poor choices. There are arguments against my thoughts here. Why should the club be held accountable for the acitons of the indiviual when they are removed from the direct employment? After all, other employers are not held accountable for the irresponsible behaviour of their employees outside of standard work hours.
